Karen Ziel

Karen Ziel supports Christian Educators and faith formation leaders with consultation, training, resources and programs. She has guided the development of the Leadership Studio at United Church Center, a communications and workshop facility for providing access to training materials locally and remotely. She works with the CAUCE (The Connecticut Association of United Church Educators) and is always gathering information about new and creative educational programs and opportunities. She administers The Mentored Relationships program for developing leaders, provides Safe Conduct training and materials and curates the faith formation pages on the CT UCC website and responds to queries and requests for resources.

Karen is a Commissioned Minister in the United Church of Christ and was a local Christian Educator leader for over twenty years.  She has participated in endeavors in the wider church related to faith formation and was Dean for Silver Lake Conference Center for many years.
